A Spell A Rebel Yell

Happy Chinese New Year!
Long holiday ahead. We've got Monday and Tuesday off which is a good thing. Always has. No oranges this year, though; Lady In Charge gave us two bottled juices. Not that I mind. My father brought home enough to fill a big wicker basket. That's a whole lot of citrus joy. I laughed because they're all so cute, really. All imperfectly round, orange-coloured and stacked on top of one another in resemblance of a pyramid. Well, it did look like a pyramid until we started picking one after another everyday. Now we're down to the last layer, which is to say the, um, base?
Must get more oranges!
Let me rejoice: Monday and Tuesday. Ah, it's enough to make me giddy! Two extra days of not having to deal with the people at work, the noise and the annoyance that comes with it; the pressure from the Referral guy wanting to collect his paperwork from me when I'm not yet finished. Seriously!
I have other work that is first priority and sometimes that comes in thirty, forty cases in one document. I have no idea how many documents I have to process in a day; when you're in a rush, everything is a blur. So I get all agitated with the Referral guy because sometimes he hand those paperwork later than usual and still want to collect at around the same damn time.
So when he calls, asking if I'm done with it and I say not yet, it makes me feel incompetent, slow and useless. And stark raving mad. Fingers fly over the keyboard trying to type faster and not have a typo. And the new keyboard is just fucking retarded. I hate that thing. Have patience, man. I'm basically taking over the workload since my assigned partner is helping the New Girl out who, by the way, took my desk. Humph.
Now I can't watch the door, can't take a whiff of That Man's cologne - I'm not being creepy; I just like the smell of it. It's nothing like I've smelled before. I just want to fold myself in its scent and stay there until I'm ready to face the world again. Yes, I find an unexplainable comfort in it.
Wait, that sounds creepy.
Blah! I'm so tired.
I feel like dying my hair. Have a haircut. No, a trim would be enough. I need clothes and pants. Shoes! I saw a cute three-inch heel. Very cute, I tell you. If there had been a size for my feet, I'd have bought it. No kidding. It was that cute.
Have a nice holiday!
